Brazil requires visas for several countries, including the United States. Please, check with the Brazilian Embassy in your country if you need a visa to be admitted to Brazil. Apply for your visa as soon as possible.

The first choice for international travelers is the International Airport President Castro Pinto is located in the city of Bayeus, 11 Km away from the downtown of João Pessoa. A typical Taxi fare between the airport and the hotels is R$ 52,00 (approximately US$ 27,00). The TAM company has flights landing at such airport.

An alternative is the International Airport of Guararapes, located in the Recife city. Most of the companies have direct flights to Recife. A typical Taxi fare from this airport to downtown of João Pessoa (150 Km) is R$ 150,00 (approximately US$ 75,00).

We have very good news regarding the hotel rates for participants of the IPDO Symposium. Negotiations were held with a recently inaugurated hotel in the city of João Pessoa, located near the conference center where the IPDO Symposium will be held, and in front of the beautiful Tambau beach. Double Bedroom - R$ 140.00 (approximately USD 76.2818 or EUR 60.5641) per room

Triple Bedroom - R$ 192.00 (approximately USD 104.6150 or EUR 83.0594) per room
